After school sessions are busy and fun with children often not wanting to leave if their parents come early to collect!
Children are free to organise their time and join in with the adult led activities if they so wish. These range from art and craft activities to cooking.
As we have excellent outside spaces we always allow children to play outdoors whenever possible.
Children are offered a light snack after school. Cereal and milk is always available with the addition of a choice of freshly prepared sandwiches, wraps, crumpets etc. A selection of fresh fruit and raw vegetable crudités are always provided. Water and milk from our local dairy are available to drink.
MERESIDE SCHOOL: Reception and KS1 children are collected from their classrooms. KS2 children walk to the hall where they are registered.
ST GILES SCHOOL: Reception and KS1 children are collected from their classrooms. KS2 children walk to our meeting point and are registered. All children are transported to TreeTops on our minibus or in staff cars. We also offer a late pick up at 4.15pm after St Giles clubs have finished.
We have an excellent relationship with both schools and for our EYFS children we have a class communication book. This is a two way communication between the class teacher and us to help support children that have just started school and TreeTops.
