Dear Parents and Carers,
Please find below our Easter Holiday Booking Form and Spring Term Newsletter.
We will be changing the gate code later next week, so please keep an eye on your Famly Newsfeed for the updated information. A reminder that your child should NEVER be told the code.
A small number of families are still not accessing the Famly app. It really is the best way to stay up to date with everything happening at Treetops. You can message us directly, check your account, view invoices and make Tax-Free Childcare payments — all in one place.
If you have misplaced your original welcome email or would like us to resend your login details, please just let us know and we will happily arrange this.

Autumn Newsletter and October Half Term
Dear Parents and Carers,
It has been wonderful to see the children settling so well into their routines at Treetops. A special welcome to all our new children and families who have joined us this term – we are delighted to have you as part of the Treetops community.
We also want to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us over the summer. Our Holiday Club was an amazing success, blessed with lots of sunny weather, fun games, creative activities and plenty of laughter. It was a joy to see the children enjoying themselves and making new friendships.
Looking ahead, bookings are now open for the October Half Term, including the PD Day on Friday 24th October. Places are limited and we strongly recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
We are also pleased to share some positive news – the Government has confirmed that HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) funding has been extended for the next three years. The next funded sessions will take place during the Easter Holidays (4 days). If you are eligible, your child’s school will provide you with a code to access a funded place.
Our Autumn Newsletter is attached and also the holiday booking form. Paper copies are also available to collect from Treetops if you prefer.
We say goodbye to Jules who is off to London to pursue her passion in acting, we will certainly miss the vibrancy she brought to the team. We say hello to Caitlin and Ethan who started working over the summer holidays and will continue to work during term time.

Summer Holidays 2025
☀️ Summer Holiday Club – Now Open for Bookings! ☀️
We’re excited to announce that bookings are now open for the Treetops Summer Holiday Club!
Get ready for a jam-packed summer of fun, creativity and adventure – with something for everyone:

- A Magical Visit from a Real Magician!
- Wet & Wild Day
Back by popular demand… the amazing Project Adventure team returns for a second summer, bringing:
- Archery
- Bushcraft Skills
- Nature Activities
Places fill up quickly, so book early to avoid disappointment!
If you are booking a place using a HAF Code please wait until your child receives the code from their school. Codes are unique for each holiday and should be released from Monday 23rd June onwards. Further information with links to the Google form will be sent out next week. HAF sessions are 9.30am to 1.30pm and include a packed lunch.

Easter Holidays 2025
Dear Parents and Carers,
We are now open for bookings over the Easter holidays. If you need childcare during this time please pick up a form from Treetops or print and return the form below.
We will be closed for Good Friday and Easter Monday but have some fun activities planned over the 8 days including an Easter Egg Hunt, Science Workshop and we are trying out some new escape room games during the second week.
Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis and we advise you to book early as places do get booked up quickly on visitor days.
We are also delighted to be offering HAF sessions during the first week. If you are eligible for HAF (Holiday Activities and Food Programme) you will have received a code from your child’s school. Please do not return the form with the code.

🎃 October Half Term & Newsletter 🎃
Dear Parents and Carers,
It seems only a moment ago we were planning the summer holiday programme and now October half term is nearly around the corner.
We have a fun week of activities planned with an optional dress up day on our Halloween Fun and games day. The activities will start after lunch on 31st October.
As well as the full week we will also be opening for the PD Day on Monday 4th November.
A reminder for your diary – we do not open over the Christmas holidays.

🦋 May Half Term 🦋
Dear Parents and Carers,
We are now open for bookings for May half term. Lots of interesting cooking and art projects are planned. For those parents who may not have used holiday childcare before, we are very child centred and allow children to join in with the optional activities on offer rather than expect them to join in whole group activities. As well as the planned activities we also allow them to be outside as much as the weather permits.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you need childcare of this holiday by retuning the form below or pick up a booking form from Treetops.
For those planning to use us in the summer holidays please note we will not be open Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd September. We are having the incredibly talented artist Rory McCann paint a mural in our Treetops room! Our Summer holiday programme will be open Monday 22nd July to Friday 30th August.
The new academic term starts on Wednesday 4th September when we open for before and after school sessions.
If you need to make any changes to your September bookings please let us know as soon as possible.

We are now open for booking for the Easter Holidays. Please complete a booking form which can be collected from Treetops or printed off from the link below. We are in the process of updating our website and hoping to have editable forms as an option on the new site.
We are delighted to be supporting HAF places again this Easter holidays for eligible children, please clink the link below which will take you to the booking form. If you are not registered with Treetops already you will need to complete a separate Registration Form and Privacy Notice.
Please read the attached newsletter also as it contains some important information about fees and the new parking rules for term time drop off and collection after Easter.

❤️ February Half Term ❤️
Dear Parents,
Happy New Year, I hope you all had some lovey family time over the Christmas holidays.
It seems just a moment ago and now we are thinking about February Half Term!
As Mereside School has 2 PD Days either side of February Half Term we will also be open for those days as well.
We have lots of lovely activities planned including art and craft and cooking activities. If you have not used holiday care before, we open during every holiday (except Christmas) from 7.30am to 6pm. You can book any hours between those times and our current fees are on the website. Please return the booking form below (link to PDF) or collect a form from Treetops.
If you use us for after school care you will have met Jules who is covering for Katy (on maternity leave) and Marina is covering breakfast club. We also welcome another new member of staff, Lizzy, to the team towards the end of January.
