We have a great team of dedicated staff at TreeTops that aim to make your child’s time at TreeTops fun.
All our staff hold current Paediatric First Aid Certificates and receive regular Child Protection training. Staff involved with the preparation of food hold current Level 2 Food Hygiene qualifications.

Julia Lewis
Founder and Director of TreeTops
Julia recognised a need for high quality childcare for school aged children whilst working as a primary school teacher. TreeTops was the first out of school club to be established in Shrewsbury in 1991. Julia has has two grown up children.

Dawn Micklewright
Deputy Manager
Dawn started at TreeTops in 1999. She loves working across all age groups and sharing her love of nature, crafts and photography with the children. Dawn also works with pre-school children at Kingfisher Nursery and is our EYFS co ordinator as well as Deputy Manager.

Lizzy Ackers

Lizzy works during breakfast club and after school during term time and also during the school holidays.
She is studying for her degree in English and is considering becoming a teacher.

Tracy Springthorpe

Tracy joined TreeTops in May 2017 and she enjoys sports and team games. Tracy has 3 grown up sons and a teenage daughter. At weekends Tracy loves going to her caravan on the beach!

Sandra holds an NVQ in Early Years Education. She has worked for 20 years in childcare and particularly enjoys outdoor activities, gardening with the children and crafts.
